George is a third-year apprentice from the Manufacturing Technology Centre, where he is studying Metrology which is the science of measurement. He is learning different aspects of mechanical engineering, particularly in machining, and enjoys the range of new things that this brings. He’d like to specialise in the inspection of parts, ensuring they meet standards and finds new developments such as 3D printing particularly interesting.
