The British Motor Museum hosts the world’s largest collection of historic British cars, over 400 vehicles spanning the early 1900s to modern classics. It combines beautifully designed display spaces with hands-on learning environments, offering both guided and self-led educational visits.
The museum offers on-site workshops like Engineering Apprentices and Ready, Salt, Go! which link directly to curriculum areas in STEM, material science, and sustainable design. Students engage in real-world challenges such as racing scale Jaguar D-types or building salt-powered cars, tying together core D&T concepts in a memorable way.
