The Royal Air Force Museum Midlands, located at RAF Cosford in Shropshire, is a premier aviation museum dedicated to the history of the Royal Air Force. Established on May 1, 1979, the museum offers free admission and features an extensive collection of over 75 historic aircraft, including the world’s oldest Spitfire and the unique TSR2.
A highlight is the National Cold War Exhibition, which houses the only collection of all three V-bombers: the Valiant, Victor, and Vulcan. Visitors can also explore interactive experiences like the 4D cinema and the Flight Zone, making it an engaging destination for aviation enthusiasts and families alike.
