The UK Creative Festival at Dreamland, Margate, is a dynamic two-day celebration of creativity, bringing together practicing designers, teachers, students and industry leaders. Featuring thought-provoking talks, hands-on workshops, a free Creative Careers Fair, and the prestigious Creative Circle Awards, this event unites the full spectrum of creative disciplines, including product design, textiles, graphics and more.
For D&T teachers, the Festival offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into current industry practices, explore future-focused themes such as sustainability and AI, and discover fresh project ideas for the classroom. The Creative Careers Fair, free to attend, is particularly valuable for guiding students toward real-world design pathways.
